It seems a good idea! But I think we don't need to prepare anything cuz I myself have a lot of things to concern 'bout . Natural speaking , I think, is always the best . Besides , I think we don't have enough time in class to speak seriously 'bout a topic . But if you just want to practise english communication , it's absolutely ok .

 

Are you sure you can speak fluently without preparation ? Or you need "Uh,oh,Ah..." very much ? If we want, we still have time to speak.
Anyway, thank you very much for contributing to my idea. Hope to hear from you as much as possible to improve the movement .

 

I think what we want to practise is your reaction in different situations . In our lives , we can't prepare anything . Even when you don't know anything to talk , you still have to do sth . If you tell me to prepare a topic, I think I'd better talk with myself , record it and then listen again . this environment is a class not an English club or an Eloquent Contest. if you want to do that, I think EC is a suitable place !

 

I agree with T entirely. We can't prepare everything! What we need is the quick reaction. If we can react well and quickly, we will be able to speak fluently. And if we speak frequently, we can speak naturally.

For the first time, we can't speak well, of course. Therefore, we need to practice to improve our speaking skill.

If we have to prepare everything, we will have A NEW SUBJECT. And I'm sure that our class's "hardworking" members will be "regae" to join in.

 

I don't ask you to predict all the things happpening to you ! I just suggested you preparing for it ! How can you predict what other people will say to you ? Just prepare for the vocabulary,etc.!
